The Pony Club Centre Membership Information:
  • What is it?

The objective of the Pony Club is to encourage young clients to ride and learn to enjoy all kinds of sport connected with horses and riding. It provides instruction in riding and horsemanship to give the member and insight to the correct care of horses and ponies. It promotes the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty, thereby cultivating strength of character and self discipline.

  • Why your child should be a member?

The Pony Club is based around Achievement Badges, Progressive Tests and Efficiency Tests which are recognized to international standards. Each starts off at a basic level and progresses to the higher levels to suit all ages from 4- 25yrs.

  • What do the children achieve?

Being a centre we provide the opportunity for your child to become a member of the Pony Club without having their own pony. We run weekly sessions which include both riding and horsemanship and allow the child to work towards Achievement Badges and Progressive Riding Tests which then lead onto Efficiency Tests, internationally recognized standards of attainment. Throughout the holidays we run numerous activities from Pony Days through to Camps which are based around the Pony Club Badges/Tests. We are also very keen and have recently taken part in Pony Club Competitions, being the highest placed centre in our region, as a growing centre we hope that we can participate further. We also arrange a number of social events throughout the year.

  • How do I join?

The annual subscription is £24; this is paid to the Pony Club and is renewable annually. To join the Trenley Park Pony Club you need to pick up a joining form from a member of staff at Trenley Park, simply complete your details and return to the office together with your payment.
